Frequently asked questions
What counts, what doesn’t, and when.
Track use, video registration, distributor reporting, and confirmed earnings are four different events.
Does registering a video create earnings?
No. Registration connects a video to its verified channel, selected track, and attestation. Validated distributor reporting and the posted ledger determine confirmed earnings.
When do confirmed earnings appear?
Reporting often arrives about three months after usage, but timing varies. The dashboard separates usage month, statement month, import date, and confirmation date.
Can I add my own music?
No. At launch, only Thrumble administrators will add tracks that complete the required rights review.
Can I verify more than one channel?
Yes. A creator may have multiple verified channels, but each YouTube Channel ID can belong to only one Thrumble account.
Is Thrumble part of YouTube?
No. Thrumble is not YouTube and is not endorsed by YouTube. YouTube and other platforms set and enforce their own rules.
